The community’s response to Cally’s murder was immense. Donations came in from all over the Country. The family had to decide what would be the best use of the generous donations made in her honor.

The family decided to honor Cally by using some of the money donated for scholarships to kids for their education. But the bulk of the money goes to children and families experiencing tragedy or trauma.

As Cally’s Mom, Connie once said, “That’s Cally’s legacy: taking care of kids.”
